Where to stay?

Hotel Eder is located just footsteps away from a ski lift (and a ski school). In the area, there are plenty of adventurous activities, for when your kids finish splashing in the indoor pool and play area. The hotel also boasts a great restaurant. Which areas to visit?

The cities Saalbach, Hinterglemm, Leogang and Fieberbrunn form the gorgeous ski area of Saalbach. With over 270km of slopes, this area is one of the biggest in Austria. State-of-the-art lifts ensure that you reach the tops of the slopes quickly and comfortable, whatever weather it might be. Committed ski schools with special areas for kids, and ski kindergartens will help your kids accomplish their first swings in the snow. Over 60 ski huts in the skiing area will serve you traditional delicasies. Popular food breaks with delicasies such as Kaiserschmarrn will help you recharge your batteries for your next descent.

 

Zell am See is also a great place to go skiing with your family. The area is to be connected to the Saalbach area within 5 years, but for now consists 77km of slopes. The ski pass of Zell am See is also valid for the connected ski area of Kaprun, where you’ll find another 61km of amazing slopes. There’s an equal division of blue, red and black slopes, thus this area is interesting for all levels of skiers. After a fun day of skiing, enjoy the SnowSpectacle each Wednesday, where ski schools show their coolest jumps and tricks.

 

SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental is one of the largest and most modern ski areas in the world. More than 284 kilometers of ski runs, accessible via 9 different villages offer a great day of family skiing. Whether beginner or family, skiing just for pleasure or serious and experienced skier, there are slopes for everyone. The area is ideal for daytrips, and several tours have been set out that guarantee a beautiful view and wonderful slopes. Tours from 12 to 30km, with the possibility of sunny terrace breaks when you feel like it. Via the Ki-West lift, skiarea Wilder Kaiser Brixental is connected to the ski area of Kitzbühel & Kirchberg.
