Nestled between Porto and Lisbon in the ancient, once forgotten (but recently restored) village of Aldeia de Cima, you’ll find the idyllic Villa Pedra, a carefully-curated collection of stylish and spacious holiday homes that offer the enjoyment and tranquility you seek in every getaway. After being abandoned for over seventy years, Portuguese owners Manuel and Victor decided to bring this beautiful spot back to life. And we are thankful that they did!
In the charming Portuguese countryside hidden between olive and walnut trees, ten opulently restored houses are spread out among the fairytale-like holiday village of Villa Pedra, creating a cozy and familial atmosphere, but also offering guests all the privacy they need. Each home, suitable for 2 to 5 people, boasts a vast and secluded outside area with a private garden and terrace. The interiors of the homes are, too, a sight for sore eyes, embodying the perfect blend between Portuguese authenticity and contemporary quirks. Think unique furniture, striking art pieces, and a modern, well-equipped kitchen, in combination with natural floors and the original stone walls that radiate the village’s ancient character.
At Villa Pedra, you will spend your days indulging in the comfort and charm of your private hideaway (and admiring all of its enticing details), lounging by the (shared) pool or in the many hidden spots within the well-tended garden, enjoying the village’s simply delightful vibe, and exploring the inviting surroundings. Doesn’t that sound lovely?
