It has been brought carefully back to life as a remarkable hotel of understated luxury, surrounded by ancient holm oaks, olive groves and vineyards.
The owner José António Uva, the eighth-generation owner, is passionate about supporting the local community and protecting the land. As a sign of his commitment, the estate has partnered with the Green Globe brand, whose members have to prove that they’re doing something special in the field of sustainable tourism.
