Le Hameau des Baux

PARADOU, FRANCE
2 - 4 Persons
From €375

Welcome to the south of France and her stunning French Riviera. Make yourself at home in one of the 21 individually-decorated guest rooms. The provence’s remarkable allure — characterized by cypresses, pastis, the shimmering Mediterranean sun, and rustic country cuisine — hardly needs an introduction. The hotel more or less is the village, a secluded clutch of limestone-and-shingle buildings huddled around a central square.

Le Hameau des Baux is a hotel with a heart, and truly dedicates every day to reducing its impact on the environment. This is the perfect place for a rejuvenating vacation.

kids will love

  • The warm colors on the wall and the rooms’ carefully-curated details, specifically designed for kids’ happiness: think teepees, cuddly toys, and flashlights to use while telling bedtime stories.
  • The delicious breakfast buffet, rich with homemade organic delicacies
  • One of the many activities on the estate; dipping in the pool and having a drink at the pool bar or playing tennis (at the hotel’s own tennis court)
  • A meet and greet with the sharks at the Aquarium in Le Grau du Roi
  • A delicious picnic lunch (well-filled picnic baskets can be ordered at the reception)

you'll love

  • Discovering the surrounding area in a classic cabriolet. The hotel has its own collection of convertible cars from the 60s available for rent
  • The beautiful interior of the rooms; the furnishings and decoration have been carefully selected to stimulate the senses and stir up emotions. There is also a lovely antique shop available on site
  • Playing Golf, the nearest Golf course (Servanes) is just a 5-minute drive away
  • Visiting one of the typical Provence villages of Saint-Remy-de-Provence (10-minute drive) or Arles
  • Enjoying the food in one of the 2 restaurants! The 1 Michelin star “Cicada” restaurant. For more informal, outdoor dining, you can enjoy “Le Camion Bleu”, the Hameau’s food truck, that serves bistro classics in a relaxed, convivial atmosphere.

Good to know

  • The deluxe suites are ideal for families with 1 or 2 children; a well-preserved space to enjoy together. Take La Magnanerie, for instance. It’s the ideal duplex for a family, with two beds in the mezzanine upstairs, and a spacious bathroom equipped with both a bathtub and a shower. Another option is Le Mazet. This secluded Provençal bungalow houses two separate bedrooms, and is perfect for a family with teenagers.
  • Most of the rooms and all the suites have a private wooden terrace to relax on and enjoy in privacy.
  • Desire a remarkably tasty dinner at Cicada, Le Hameau de Baux’s one-star restaurant? Hire the hotel’s renowned super nanny!
  • The nearest airports are Marseille (1-hour drive) or Montpellier (75-minute drive)

“Located in the picturesque Provence, this charming hotel is truly a slice of heaven for both you and your kids. Once you drive down the stunning driveway, you feel like you're coming home to the family mansion you always wish you had. Every piece of design furniture you come across during your stay will end up on your wish list, the fig trees make you feel grounded, and everything oozes the Provence. There are plenty of excursions in the area, but unwinding in your hammock while the kids play in the pool is an excellent alternative. In the evening, you can opt for some (very) fine dining. It was the first time we let our kids join us for such an extensive dinner, and they were just as amazed by the flavors and combinations as we were. The next day, we ate at the other restaurant, lle Camion Bleu, and enjoyed a delicious hot dog while playing infinite rounds of pétanque. We had a fabulous vacation, and will, without a doubt, return to Le Hameau de Baux!”
