Gerard and Madeline, a Dutch couple, acquired this old watermill next to the small river El Rio Grande in 2007 and started converting it into a small-scale bed & breakfast. In 2009 they quit their corporate jobs and moved there with their two kids. They never looked back and now welcome guests from all over the world in their beautiful eco B&B.
The hotel’s warm water system is heated with solar energy, the hotel is heated through a wood pellet system and they are a part of various sustainability organisations who promote sustainable tourism in this part of Andalusia.
