Arctic TreeHouse Hotel

Rovaniemi, Finland
2 - 6 Persons
EUR 600 - EUR 1500

If you’re looking for a luxury once-in-a-lifetime experience, then we’ve found the perfect destination for you. The lavish Arctic TreeHouse Hotel is located in Rovaniemi (often regarded as Santa Claus’ hometown), the capital of Lapland, Northern-Finland, and will truly take your breath away. Nestled in the stunning (often snow-covered) Finnish forest, you’ll find several exceptionally stylish, yet cozy accommodation units, each with their own unique feel.

Owners, Katja and Ilkka are very passionate about sustainability and consider it a privilege and a duty to contribute to responsible design in everything that they do. This has resulted in a perfect blend of luxury and sustainability at their remarkable resort. Read more about the Arctic Treehouse Hotel concept in this interview with Katja Ikäheimo-Länkinen.

Arctic Treehouse Hotel has three types of accommodation: The Arctic TreeHouse Suite (up to 3 guests) is a radiant hideaway, characterized by white (faux) fur chairs, bedspreads, a nest bed for your little one to play in, and a panoramic window that offers marvelous views of the starry skies over the snowy treetops.

The ArcticScene Executive Suite is not just a dream for those who love sleek and vivid Scandinavian design, but is also perfect for larger families (up to 5 guests). This spacious getaway allows you to enjoy the magnificent surrounding scenery through floor-to-ceiling windows made using the latest privacy-valuing technology. Marvel at the forest from your opulent living and dining area or from your private wellness center (we particularly love the scenery sauna and bath), lounge on your custom-made king-size bed, or pamper yourself in your private make-up area.

In the sumptuous Arctic Glasshouse (up to 6 guests), you’ll find an atmosphere-rich living area with comfortable lounge chairs to curl up in, furry pillows and blankets, and a snug fireplace; perfect for a cup of hot cocoa and some warm family time after a day of Arctic activities. We particularly love the impressive kitchenette, private sauna, and spacious decking area offering spectacular views of the northern skies. Visiting with a large family? No problem. This accommodation is comprised of several bedrooms with high-standard double beds.

This small-scale yet spacious eco-resort encourages you and your family to immerse in a self-paced, yet luxurious stay, filled with Arctic adventure. In other words, The Arctic TreeHouse Hotel is a true treat!

“The Arctic TreeHouse Hotel is a great getaway! Our stylish little home away from home was unbelievably gorgeous and the surrounding nature simply breathtaking.
I find it very important that the kids feel welcome and at home, and that was definitely the case here!

My boys loved the adorable stuffed moose animal that they received upon arrival, let alone the tubes and sleds offered by the hotel. I personally loved our private sauna, and the unique husky sleigh ride.”
